When to Use

  • When you are starting somewhere new and want a flexible first-week plan.
  • When you want to remember support and rest alongside small aims.
  • When you want to set a good-enough expectation for the week.

How to Use

  1. 1
Write what you are starting, the first day and anything you feel unsure about.
  2. 2
For days you choose, write a small aim and who or what might help.
  3. 3
Mark evening energy and add a rest time and way to rest for each day you want.
  4. 4
List any people or places you can lean on and what good enough would mean for the week.

Starting a new job, school or group can take energy even when it goes well. This optional page offers five days for small aims, support and rest without making any aim a test.

For each day, note an aim, who or what might help, energy by evening and a rest time. There is also room to name sources of support and describe what would feel good enough by the end of the week.

Optional and private. A new place can feel strange for weeks, and that is normal. This page is not professional advice. If the stress is hard to live with, talk with someone you trust or a health professional.
