When to Use

  • When you want to examine a prediction using a safe, manageable step.
  • When you want to compare what you expected with what you observed.
  • When you want to reflect on an uncertain result without forcing a conclusion.

How to Use

  1. 1
Write a prediction and mark how sure you feel before any test.
  2. 2
If you choose a physically and emotionally safe test, note what you will try, why it is safe enough, what you will observe and how to stop.
  3. 3
Afterward, write what you observed and mark how sure you feel again.
  4. 4
Note any difference and what you learned; another test is optional and the result can remain uncertain.

A worry prediction can be written down and considered with a small, safe observation. This optional page does not require a test and cannot establish that a risk or symptom is safe.

Before a test, write the prediction and confidence; consider a safe action, what to observe and how to stop. Afterward, record what happened and confidence again. A result may be inconclusive, and you may change, skip or stop at any point.

Optional and private. Choose only tests that are physically and emotionally safe; do not test anything that could put you at risk or delay necessary care. This is not therapy or professional advice. If worry is hard to bear, a health professional can help. In immediate danger or if you cannot stay safe, contact local emergency services.
