When to Use

  • Before a trip that feels stressful or uncertain.
  • When you want to plan breaks, support and a way home.
  • When planning a backup or a quieter return.

How to Use

  1. 1
Write where and when you are travelling and the part that worries you most.
  2. 2
Choose helpful options before, during the journey, while away and after returning.
  3. 3
Write one personal action in the stage prompts, such as what you will do if worry rises.
  4. 4
In the backup section, note how you can pause, whom you can reach and your way home or out.

This optional planner maps the time before travel, the journey, the stay and the return. Choose only the ideas that fit.

Start with where and when you are travelling and the part that worries you most. Each stage has options to circle and a space for your own action, from a preparation task to a quiet hour or a gentler return.

The four stages let you plan for different needs before departure, on the way, while away and on return. A backup can include a pause, a contact and a way out; revise it if circumstances change.

Optional and private. This is not medical advice. If you have health conditions or questions about medicines when travelling, ask a health professional. Seek medical advice for new or worrying symptoms. For emergency symptoms or immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
