Keep entries specific enough that someone else could understand them.
  3. 3
Name the quality, value, or effort shown.
  4. 4
Write which old story the evidence challenges.
  5. 5
Review the log weekly and look for repeated strengths.

The Positive Data Log helps counter the mind's habit of filtering out useful evidence. When self-esteem is low, neutral or positive moments are often dismissed quickly while mistakes feel more important.

This worksheet creates a daily record of small wins, strengths, kind actions, effort, persistence, and moments that do not fit the old negative story. The entries should be factual and specific.

Use it for a week or longer. The goal is not forced positivity. The goal is a fairer evidence base, so your self-view includes what is working as well as what still needs care.
